The Bakersfield Condors as a franchise have been playing since they first started as the Nova Scotia Oilers way back in 1984. The team subsequently moved to Cape Breton, Hamilton, Toronto, Edmonton and Oklahoma before arriving in California's Central Valley during the expansion of 2014. The squad has always remained an affiliate club to the Edmonton Oilers and the Condors play their games at the 10,000 seat Rabobank Arena..
