About
Since being founded in 1945, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has grow into one of the premier orchestras in the United States. Performing at the Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center, it will also occasionally play at the much larger outdoor amphitheater at Encore Park in Alpharetta, Georgia, about 30 miles north of Atlanta. Having toured Europe as well as various areas of the US, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has proven itself as revered organization that doesn't rest on its laurels.
