Devo doesn't get the credit it deserves. Sure, the band had an immensely popular hit single with "Wip It" but apart from that, not many people know what the band has accomplished or what it even sounds like. Fact is, Devo is one of the more important bands to emerge from the 1980s new wave scene, releasing critically celebrated albums like Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! and Freedom of Choice.
