About
Of Salvadorian descent, Alvaro Torres always dreamed of becoming a musical star as a young child. Torres' music being primarily Spanish-based, eagerly followed Latin legends such as Sandro and Camilo Sesto who were big inspirations for him to pursue his career in music. The solo artist released his first two albums in the late 1970s but finally enjoyed greater success in the 1990s when he released his album Nada Se Compara Contigo. A Latin singer/songwriter of mainly romantic themes, Torres certainly has plenty to say about the matters of the heart.
