The Alaska Anchorage Seawolves represent the teams that compete on behalf of the University of Alaska Anchorage in NCAA Division II sporting competitions. The school was founded in 1954 and has since established itself with formidable sports teams--especially in winter sports like skiing and hockey. One of the few options when it comes to sporting competition in the Alaska region, members of the Seawolves teams are hometown athletic celebrities of sorts within the Anchorage community.
