About
The Allen Americans is a professional ice hockey team based out of Allen, Texas that competes in the Central Hockey League. Founded in 2009, the Americans is an affiliate team of the NHL's Dallas Stars as well as the Austin, Texas-based AHL Texas Stars. Having won a division and conference championship during its first season as a team in 2009, the Americans has proven to be one of the more athletically inclined teams in the CHL and has produced solid players that have gone on to have respectable careers in higher leagues.
