2Cents is a dynamic metal band from Malibu, California. Founded by brothers Adam and Dave O'Rourke, their music draws inspiration from metal legends like Pantera and Slayer, as well as Southern California punk bands such as Pennywise and Black Flag. In 2003, they released their debut album "Victims of Pop Culture" on Centsless Records. The band gained recognition with their album "Lost at Sea" in 2006, despite minimal label support. 2Cents took matters into their own hands, embarking on extensive touring and performing at renowned festivals like Rock on the Range. They have shared the stage with notable artists and bands, including Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, and Killswitch Engage. In 2013, the band announced an indefinite hiatus due to a vocal injury, but their impactful presence in the metal scene lives on.
