Formed in 2008, the funk rock feel of 100 Monkeys emanates from its five spunky Hollywood members. The band is known to improvise a full song in every live set based on suggestions from the audience, and oftentimes the roles of musician and vocalist are thrown around and changed at random throughout the show, guaranteeing a unique and high-energy performance every night. Described as Iggy Pop meets the Raconteurs, 100 Monkeys presents an old-school show with the modern humor and pervading cynicism of the 21st century.
