Ryan Lewis is an American music producer, DJ, and songwriter. He is best known for his collaboration with rapper Macklemore, with whom he has released three studio albums: The Heist (2012), This Unruly Mess I've Made (2016), and Gemini (2017). Lewis has also produced music for other artists, including Ed Sheeran, Tegan and Sara, and The Xx. His production style is characterized by its eclectic mix of hip-hop, pop, and electronic music. He is also known for his innovative use of samples, often incorporating obscure sounds and samples from various genres. His production has been praised for its creativity and originality, and has earned him numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards. Lewis is also an active philanthropist, having founded the 30/30 Project, which works to provide clean water to communities in need.
