About
Nottingham Panthers was founded in 1946. The team won its first championship in the 1950-51 season. After a line of successful seasons and one final win in the 1955-56 season, the club had to be disbanded because the league it played in at the time stopped functioning. The Panthers were reformed in 1980 and won its very first game back on ice. The ice hockey club has won several League Championships and Autumn Cups. The British team competes in the Elite Ice Hockey League and hosts its matches at National Ice Centre.
