Tempest is a rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area that creates a fusion of progressive rock and traditional Celtic music. Weaving elements of Norwegian, American and European folk into its sound, the band released its debut studio album Bootleg in 1991. Despite a constantly revolving lineup that has shifted almost every year since its inception, Tempest has released a steady stream of studio material into the 2010s, including its fourteenth studio album, Another Dawn.
