Albie Donnelly's Supercharge is a band from Liverpool that blends classic rock and R&B. The group was founded by tenor saxophonist Albie Donnelly and drummer Dave Irving in 1974. Though the ensemble has seen various lineup changes over its decades-long career, it has also maintained a consistent sound that balances tradition with innovations. From its debut album, Between the Music and Madness from 1974, to its 2005 offering 2CD Big Blow, the group has grown its following to include international audiences from all over the globe.
