The Fresno State Bulldogs represent California State University, Fresno in NCAA Division I sports teams. The athletic teams compete in the Mountain West Conference, against rivals like the Wolf Pack from the University of Nevada, Reno and the Aztecs from San Diego State University. Though all its teams are respectable in their own right, the schools men's baseball teams have managed to distinguish themselves with adept playing and a knack for pure sportsmanship--even winning the national championship in 2008.
