Ben Ottewell is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Chesterfield, England who might best be known as one of the members of the popular indie rock outfit Gomez. Having been releasing music with Gomez since the band's 1998 debut album, Bring It On, Ottewell built a reputation for himself with his deep, almost raspy voice. In 2011, Ottewell struck out on his own and released his debut album, Shapes and Shadows.
