Jessy Martens is a singer/songwriter from Germany who creates a fusion of rock, blues and soul ballads. Since the release of her debut album That's Why I'm Crying, a collaboration with Jan Fischer, she has captured the attention of a wide audience in her home country with her raw, powerhouse vocals. She spent the new few years playing stages across Europe and collecting a diverse fan base along with the way. With the release of her fourth studio album, 2011's Brand New Ride, Martens has established a distinctive sound with her session band that has catapulted her from a rising star to a critical darling with the European blues music media.
