17 Hippies is a Berlin-based group that blends a number of varied European folk styles to create a sound that has won the group a large fan base in its native Germany. Founded in 1995, the band has primarily built a name for itself with live shows that highlight the its fondness for slightly atypical instruments like the bouzouki, ukulele, accordion and banjo.
