Berliner Philharmoniker, or the Berlin Philharmonic, is a symphony orchestra based in Berlin and one of the premier orchestras in Europe. Founded as Frühere Bilsesche Kapelle in 1882, the ensemble was renamed to Berliner Philharmonisches Orchester and eventually Berliner Philharmoniker.
