Best known for his popular comedy show Was guckst du?!, Kaya Yanar is a German comedian of Turkish descent. Because most of his material deals with multicultural satire, Yanar has played a large role in the acceptance of different cultures within German humor. After eight seasons, Yanar retired from his one-man television show to pursue film and embark on a number of live tours.
