Horst Evers is the stage name of German comedian and writer Gerd Winter. A self-described storyteller, Horst Evers is known for his narrative humor and often recounts absurd events from everyday life. He has won various awards and competitions with his brand of humor, including the 2001 Prix Pantheon, a satirical German cabaret, and the German Cabaret Award in 2002 and 2008. Horst Evers has published several books and founded the Berliner Lesebühne, also known as the Berlin reading stage.
