Booka Shade

Booka Shade is a German electronic duo that has been making a style of house-inspired music since 2002. Though there are a near countless number of German house acts out there, Booka Shade manages to rise above the rest and fill its songs with subtle, yet clearly defined syncopation and rhythmic flourishes. When performing live, the group's two members play various keyboards, synths and electronic drum pads to breathe life into the oftentimes vacuous void of live house music.
