About
Joe Perry is perhaps best known as the lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for rock band Aerosmith. In the early 1980s, during a five-year hiatus, Perry started his solo project. The Joe Perry Project gained respect among its peers and fans for its pretty engaging live performances. However, success was short-lived and Perry buried the project only four years later. 2005 saw a reunion of the Joe Perry Project, though, and it's back with its jovial live performances and hard rock sound.
