About
Liberty X is a British pop group formed by five contestants from 2001 television show Popstars. The original top ten finalists, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Michelle Heaton, Kelli Young and Jessica Taylor banded together after being eliminated from the show and would go on to be more commercially successful than Popstars' winners, Hear'Say. Liberty X released its debut album Thinking It Over, in 2002, followed by 2003's Being Somebody. After one more studio effort, the group disbanded in 2006 so its members could pursue solo careers. The band eventually reunited in 2012.
