German post-hardcore band 8kids was formed in Darmstadt in 2013. The original lineup comprised of Hans Koch and Jonas Jakob before Emma McLellan was roped in. The band signed its first record deal with Napalm Records in 2016 and released its debut song "Alles löst sich auf" soon after. Its first EP Dämonen was released later that same year. Over the years, it has released several other records such as Denen die wir waren and BLUTEN, and singles like "Wir bleiben Kids" and "Stay the F**k Home." Its other popular songs include "WTF," "Dein Zuhause," "Kraft," "Blitzschlag" and "Zeit."
