About
Alice Phoebe Lou's confidence in her craft shows in her work - a mix of folk and blues carefully developed over the years. Before breaking into the music scene and playing sold-out shows at big venues, she performed for more modest crowds in parks and at S- and U-Bahn stations in Berlin. The release of her debut album Live at Grüner Salon in 2014 saw a rise in her popularity. She has been nominated for several prestigious awards and even given TEDx speeches since then. Her song "She" found a place on the Oscars shortlist for Best Original Song in 2017.
