In a Forest, Dark and Deep is a play by American dramatist Neil LaBute. A quintessential black comedy at its heart, it is set in a cabin on a rainy night and explores the sibling rivalry of Bobby and Betty. It premiered in 2011 at the Vaudeville Theatre in London and starred Matthew Fox and Olivia Williams. Its first American staging was held at Profiles Theatre in Chicago the following year, with Darrell W. Cox and Natasha Lowe portraying the pivotal roles.
