The Martin Harley Band is an acoustic outfit from the UK that owns a blues and roots-inspired sound. Founded by singer/songwriter and guitarist Martin Harley, the group boasts a strong DIY ethic and an affinity for strange instrumentation that has earned it a solid national following. The band released its debut album Martin Harley, in 2003, before signing with Transitor Records and dropping 2005's Money Don't Matter. The Martin Harley Band has since continued to perform and release its British brand of the Delta blues.
