Florida State Seminoles

Florida State University is a public university based out of Tallahassee, Florida that was founded in 1851. The athletic teams that represent the school in the NCAA Division I are called the Seminoles--a nod to the Native American tribes of the area. Though the university plays host to a wide variety of sports, including sand volleyball and golf, it is probably best known for its basketball and football teams.
