Chas Hodges and Dave Peacock make up the comedy rock duo Chas & Dave. Sometimes stylized as Chas 'n' Dave, the pair creates music with a combination of piano, banjo, guitar and bass while sharing vocals and featuring drummer Mick Burt. Known for their intentional Cockney accents, Hodges and Peacock often refer to their folk, rock and pop musical fusion as "rockney." Chas & Dave released its debut album One Fing 'n' Anuvver, in 1975 and dropped its first breakthrough single "Gertcha," in 1979. The duo continued to steadily release music throughout the 2000s before focusing primarily on live shows and touring.
