Puppetry of the Penis is a performance show that was originally conceived of by its Australian creator Simon Morley as a calendar that would showcase 12 of his favorite penis shaped installations. Needless to say, the idea never really got off the ground, and Morley, along with his friend David "Friendy" Friend decided to translate the idea into an act, which premiered to substantial acclaim at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 1998.
