Out of the Blue

Out of the Blue is Oxford's very own all-male a cappella group consisting of students from Oxford Brookes University and Oxford University. It recreates a cappella versions of popular songs belonging to various genres. The band spent its early days performing at small gigs and at college programs, but this changed very quickly. In 2001, it debuted with a self-titled album which put the band’s name out of the boundaries of their college campus. It enjoys a strong fan following on social media for its covers like “Hips Don’t Lie” and “All I Want For Christmas.” Apart from singing on popular TV shows and radio stations in the UK, this college a cappella group continues to tour internationally.
