Jimmy Somerville is a singer/songwriter who blends new wave, disco and synthpop into one style. Based in Scotland, he fronted the pop bands Bronski Beat and The Communards before embarking on a solo career. He released his debut solo LP, Read My Lips, in 1989. He's since continued to release new records, like 2004's Home Again and 2015's Homage.
