Nils Lofgren is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who might best be known as a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Hailing from Chicago, Lofgren would distinguish himself as a solo artist with his self-titled debut album in 1975 before going on to join the E Street band in 1984. Though Lofgren continues to tour and release music with Springsteen, he also releases solo material and maintains an active performance schedule.
