A tribute band to the British music of the 1960s, the aptly titled UK-based group The Mods formed in the early 2000s and has since managed to build a strong fan base. With an assortment of instrumentalists that have worked with many of the musicians they now cover, The Mods performs highly accurate and enjoyable versions of songs by The Who, The Faces, The Kinks and others. While The Mods is made up of a core group of five musicians, its live shows also incorporate a good deal of talented guest performers.
