With a low-fi approach to recording music, the New York based indie rock outfit Here We Go Magic is representative of a group of musicians who forego an extremely polished approach to music composition. Though the band isn't necessarily garage rock or noise rock, the hard-to-discern instrumentals leave a lasting impression in the minds of listeners and beg for repeated listens. The group released its eponymous debut LP in 2009 and ever since then coffee houses and art supply stores have been buzzing with excitement about the band.
