Italia 'n' Caledonia, written by Mike Maran and Philip Contini, is a dramatic telling of the Italians' arrival in Scotland. It follows the tale of Italians from different walks of life - businessmen, craftsmen and musicians - who fought alongside the Scots in the 1914-1918 war. Then considered national heroes, the community's fortunes in the country changed when Mussolini declared war on Britain and Italians in Scotland were labeled enemies.
