Kryštof, a prominent Czech pop rock band formed in 1994 in Havířov, consists of Richard Krajčo (vocals, guitar), Nikolaj Arichtev (bass), and other talented musicians. The band debuted with Magnetické pole (2001) and gained widespread acclaim with Rubikon (2006), earning their first Anděl Award. They further established their reputation with awards such as the Český slavík for Group of the Year in 2013. Kryštof’s discography includes nine studio albums, such as Mikrokosmos (2004) and Halywůd (2021), along with live albums like Kryštof na Strahově 2017 (2018). Known for their dynamic sound and engaging performances, they have enjoyed success with singles like "Rubikon" and "Srdcebeat." Despite changes in their lineup, including departures of original members like Pavel Studník, Kryštof continues to be a significant force in Czech music.
