Najoua Laamiri, known professionally as Nej’, is a French pop singer-songwriter of Moroccan descent, born on June 30, 1994, in Toulouse. She rose to prominence in 2016 with her cover of "Aime-moi demain" by The Shin Sekaï and gained further recognition with hits like "I Miss U," "Paro," and "Ma colombe." Nej’ grew up in Toulouse's Bellefontaine district, where her musical journey began after being discovered by a neighbor and a beatmaker. She relocated to Paris at 18, releasing her debut double album Enchantée in 2019, which was certified gold in 2023. Her 2021 single "Paro" achieved significant success on TikTok and Shazam. Nej’ has performed at major venues such as La Cigale and the Olympia and has been nominated for multiple awards, including the Les Flammes. Her 2023 album Athéna features collaborations with Maes and Bigflo & Oli.
