Juan Luis Guerra

Juan Luis Guerra is a singer/songwriter, composer and producer from the Dominican Republic. He released his debut album Soplando, in 1984, but didn't truly capture his signature blend of Latin pop, bachata, merengue and salsa until his 1990 LP, Bachata Rosa. The album, released on his long-time label Karen Records, became an international hit, exposing his music to audiences across North America and Europe. He's since maintained his distinctive style of pop on records like 2010's A Son de Guerra and 2014's Todo Tiene Su Hora.
