Midway Still is a British punk rock band formed in Kent, England in 1989. The band consists of dual vocalists/guitarists Russ Stanier and Paul Thomson, bassist Danny McConaghie, and drummer Sean "Spike" Smith. Known for their energetic live performances and melodic punk sound, Midway Still released several albums and EPs throughout the 1990s, including their debut album "Dial Square" and the popular single "I Won't Try." After disbanding in 1998, the band reformed in 2009 and has continued to play live shows and release new music. With a loyal following both in the UK and abroad, Midway Still is considered an influential band in the UK punk rock scene.
