About

The Suitcase Royale is a three-person comedy ensemble from Melbourne, Australia. It comprises Glen Walton, Joseph O'Farrell and Miles O'Neil, who met at university in 2002 while studying Creative Arts. The three founded The Suitcase Royale as a folk band and it was only while working on a sketch for the Melbourne Fringe Festival that they discovered their theatrical prowess. Today considered one of the stalwarts of the Australian theatre scene, this comedy trio has created numerous shows including "Felix Listens to the World," "The Ghosts of Ricketts Hill" and "The SPACE SHOW," and extensively toured across the world. It also released an eponymous album in 2010 which featured the tracks "Messy Dimes," "Run From the Devil," "Elevator," "Theme from the Ballad of Backbone Joe" and "No Night Out in the Jail," among others. Over the course of its career, The Suitcase Royale has been awarded honors like the Melbourne Fringe Festival Award for the Best Performance, the Golden Gibbo Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Green Room Award for Innovation and Excellence, to name a few.
