George Duke

George Duke began his informal piano studies at age seven when he started absorbing the music of his local Baptist church in Mill Valley, California. After receiving formal training, Duke began a successful career as a studio musician and an all around go-to piano player. Helping pioneer a unique synthesizer sound with artists like Frank Zappa, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham, amongst others, Duke has been a respected musician amongst his peers and the listening public since the early '70s.
