When Fyfe Dangerfield was a youngster he learned a lot of instruments, including the piano, guitar, organ and bass. Getting his start in 1999 as the lead singer/songwriter for the avant-garde pop band Guillemots. But after band tensions arose to a breaking point, the group disbanded and Dangerfield set off on a more mellow folk road with his music.
