Although relatively unknown in Ireland, Dunne has achieved significant success within the gaming community, often cited as Ireland's most successful indie musician. He gained prominence with viral hits like "Commander Shepard" and "The Ballad of Clay Carmine." Dunne's early work includes his band Lotus Lullaby, which won the Bank of Ireland National Student Music Awards in 2006. Miracle of Sound’s discography features a series of thematic albums, such as Level 1 through Level 12. Notable works include the heavy metal album Metal Up and the instrumental Vistas. Dunne, who married in 2019, has been praised for his innovative approach to music and his supportive stance on piracy, allowing fans to access his work freely when needed.
