Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Conor McGregor is a retired MMA fighter and boxer. Once a UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, he made his professional debut as an amateur MMA fighter in 2007 at the age of 18. Hailed as one of the best MMA fighters, he ventured into boxing and was beaten by Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his debut, an event which drew large crowds and millions in pay per view. He holds the record for the fastest UFC title victory after he knocked out José Aldo in 13 seconds and is one of the few UFC fighters to hold titles in multiple weight classes at the same time.
