One of Ireland's most successful singers ever, Dickie Rock had over 20 hit singles from 1963 to 1983. First attaining success with his showband act Dickie Rock and the Miami in 1965 with the single "There's Always Me," Rock would go on to define himself as a solo musician after three musicians from his group, the Miami Showband, were tragically murdered in 1975. With a quintessential throwback crooner style, Rock might stray from pursuing relevancy in the modern music scene, but that hasn't detoured the talented musician from carrying on with his characteristic and much beloved singing style.
