Formed in 2000, Catalans Dragons is a professional rugby league club from Perpignan, France. Representing Catalonia in the Super League, they play their home games at the Stade Gilbert Brutus but have also played a few home fixtures at the Camp Nou in Barcelona where they registered a season attendance record while playing against the Wigan Warriors. Known affectionately as “The Dragons”, the club is the only French club that competes in the Super League and claims to be the first and only French club to win the Challenge Cup in the history of the tournament.
