Danzig is an American heavy metal band that has been making music since 1987. The group is primarily a vehicle for singer/songwriter Glen Danzig, who first rose to prominence with horror punk group the Misfits. Surprisingly, many Danzig songs aren't overtly heavy and they typically rely on classic blues-rock chords despite oftentimes being drowned out by Glen's overpowering voice.
