About
Founded in 2002, Amateur Transplants is a parody musical project and the brainchild of comedian Adam Kay. Kay was accompanied by anesthetist Dr. Suman Biswas up until 2011 after which Biswas went back to his original profession. Amateur Transplants released its debut album Fitness to Practice in 2004 and followed it up with several other noteworthy albums like Unfit to Practice, Specimens and Have Yourself a Sweary Little Christmas.
