The Lovely Eggs is a pop duo that emerged out of Lancaster, England in 2006. Composed of wife-husband pair Holly Ross and David Blackwell, who respectively play guitar and drums, the group first captured its garage-infused pop rock tunes on the debut LP, If You Were Fruit. Released on Cherryade Records in 2009, the record put the Lovely Eggs on the map of indie pop fans across the UK. With each subsequent record, including 2015's This is Our Nowhere, the band has extended its reach across to new international audiences.
