Armed with a progressive sound, Threshold is a heavy metal outfit that hails from the South of England. Founded in the late 1980s when fusion metal was in its early days, the band forged its own blend of progressive rock and metal that would go on to become its signature sound starting with its  debut album, Wounded Land. Released in 1993, the record put Threshold on the map as frontrunners of forward-thinking hard rock. The band has since continued to tour and release new albums, such as 2002's Critical Mass and 2007's Dead Reckoning.
